Kronos Racing have recently formed a relationship with Sorevi  based in Limoges, France.  Sorevi have been supplying this type of coating for a number of years to top Formula One teams, and our chosen supplier for Kronos Racing Products. 

SOREVI is a company specializing in the surface treatment by vacuum deposit with anti-wear properties and antifriction characteristics. The coating carried out is a deposit of amorphous hard carbon to a thickness of 3 to 4 µm, the purpose of which is to increase the surface hardness and to reduce the coefficient of friction and thus to increase the lifespan of the parts.

 DLC is a unique form of ultra-hard carbon, deposited from a reactive chemical vapour at up to 400°C. It provides a combination of high wear resistance and low friction; properties which are not usually found together. After extensive trials and research we believe the Sorevi DLC to be the best on the market.
